    Right so basically I had bought an Xbox controller and within 2 months the RB button just randomly stopped working, so of course I send it to Microsoft to be repaired/replaced. They sent back a new one but the left analog stick was drifting SO BAD, so
    obviously I was really mad that they sent me back faulty controller and I contacted Microsoft and they said the only thing they can do is for me to send it into repair again to see if they can fix or replace it. So I sent it back, with a note in it explaining
    they absolutely need to make sure the new one they send me has no faults whatsoever, and with the pandemic right now it took a long time to send it off and receive the new controller, but I did eventually receive it but I had a bad feeling it was still going
    to be faulty. So I started up my Xbox to test if there was any problems and of course!!! A drift analog stick!!! At this point I'm just really fed up, I don't want to have to take my controller apart in case I make it worse, and I've been without a working
    Xbox controller for 2 months now so I'm not sure if I even want to send it back AGAIN for the third time for it to come back faulty again. Can someone please give me some advice on what I should do?

    I have some stick drift in most of the controllers I own, but none of them have prevented me from playing. I do agree that these controllers need to be more durable. If you have a Costco in your area, they accept returns on controllers no matter how old
    or what the defect is. I do know people that exclusively buy controllers from them in order to return them when they become a problem.

    Xbox 360 controller - Bring it back!

    I find it a bit funny that people look back on the 360 controller so fondly. Sure I didn't have any that just stopped working completely but I did have 2 with broken mic jacks and a bunch with drifting analog sticks.

    The early 360 white controllers were good but they cheeped out later on and produced junk analog sticks that would only last a few months before they would start drifting.

    I'm fine with the X1 controller but the analog sticks seem to still be prone to drifting. They need to beef the analog sticks up but I don't see that happening it's a way for them to sell more controllers.

    XBOX Elite controller Series 2 stick Drift

    The same thing just happened to me. My RB wasn't working so they sent me a controller with a nasty stick drift on the right analog. I will NEVER buy a elite controller again.
