    XBOX ONE Elite controller right analog stick malfunction

    Elite controller barely used, right analog stick won't work at all. Happened suddenly while playing BF1. Done recommended (by microsoft) troubleshooting including controller update. When attempting to register the problem in microsoft device management, I'm
    only left with various options to purchase new replacable parts, which obviously isn't the problem. The analog stick does not appear jammed, nor has any trauma befallen the controller. Software problem? Is there anywhere to send the controller for repairs?

    Hey guys ! need help with Xbox One Controller please!

    I just updated my controller and now the L trigger is saying that its being held down ...but I'm not touching it nor is it jammed.

    The following info is taken from this page:
    support.xbox.com/.../getting-your-product-serviced-faq

    "How can I get an accessory replaced?

    If you purchased the Microsoft Xbox accessory within the last 30 days, you can return it to the retailer with your original proof of purchase. If you purchased the accessory more than 30 days ago but within the accessory warranty period, you can order a
    replacement accessory from our Xbox Online Service Centre (console registration is required). Make sure that you click Replace an Accessory instead of Request Service. Follow the on-screen prompts to place an order."

    If this doesn't work out for you, it may well be worth picking up a new controller.

    Controller issue on PC

    I want to assume that you're describing a "drift" in the controller analog stick.

    My very first controller experienced this after playing a lot of BF4. In order to run, you had to press down the analog stick, many times while holding the analog stick in a certain direction to keep moving.

    If this is present the PC settings will show as if you're holding it down in a slight direction at all times when left sitting. You could attempt to have the controller replaced..... myservices.xbox.com
