An Xbox Live Membership limitation does not allow you to use this feature

Dear Support:

I recently got an Xbox One and when I try to connect to play Madden 25 online I get an error:

"An Xbox Live Membership limitation does not allow you to use this feature"

I am a Gold member and status is current on my profile so I don't know why this is happening. Any fix??

I have Scored the Internet for an answer with no solutions, just suggestions about changing settings which don't need to be changed as I am already set up to receive all content.

Any advice, help, suggestions on this board will be greatly appreciated-especially if the advice works!

Madden is an E.A. game I believe so you do need to be 13 years or older to play on E.A.'s servers.

I had the same problems. It's EA fault, when using games like Madden NFL 25, Madden NFL 15 + 16 by there terms you need to be 18 year or older to use things. So to fix this problem (very lame non-description error message by EA) you need to go into your
'Xbox Dashboard/Settings'. Then setup the 'Parental Controls' for Adult and you may have to 'Allow' other things VS blocking in the setting to use EA to go online/social sharing etc. It Would have been nice for EA to explain things better for example "to
use this you need to be 18 years or older, if you are please change the setup to Adult in your xbox settings)

I can see that your gold membership.What kind of error are you getting when you try to go online. Can you show me, step by step, what you do to get the error? I also want to make sure that the setting is correct to allow you access for online play. Check
with the Gold membership holder and see if you are set up correctly.

I checked my profile on Xbox.com for Privacy Settings on Xbox One that allows for Multi-Player and it is checked as Allowed so that is not the issue either I presume,

This is ridiculous. I'm having the same issue. Trying to play my friend online and I'm getting the same message. I've checked my settings tried resetting everything and still nothing.

Yeah I added him in there before. Is it because I only have the trial xbox live that came with the xbox one?
