    Just a quick rundown on the earlier post and what I've tried since, I bought an extra copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition and I've been trying to get a refund on it since the 27th. I came here after trying to get a refund and it was denied, and
    I was told to email them and ask for a review and ask why it was denied, I got no response other than saying my refund was denied again. Tried a third time to get no response at all. When it was denied it said it went against Microsoft store policy or something
    (forgot the exact name). I read through the entirety of it to find anything related to my case and why it was denied and I found nothing so I'm back here, since I've lost $100 and have no way to get it back. I've honestly give up at this point but I thought
    I might aswell come here again to see if anything can be changed or I can be helped or anything.

    Sorry for the overly long post but I'm just a bit frustrated with this whole situation.

    I should've posted a solution to this earlier, but the game received a title update about a week ago. It popped for me as soon as I started the game.

  3. There is almost no incentive to use the Xbox Store to purchase games.

    Thank you for your response to my post. I too had never really requested a refund before, and sadly it's not until it's too late that you find out how strict and unrelenting the policy is. As an update, they have changed their minds on whether they
    would refund my purchase and did give me a refund, but I feel that's because I made a big stink about it and posted here to the forums. I was denied 2 times before being granted a refund, and that happened AFTER I made this post. I'm hoping that's not what
    it takes for most people!

  5. I've gotten refunds on digital games before but ok i guess, mind of upsetting but I'm just going to stop here since I'm frustrated.

  6. That is possibly why it was denied as refunds are normally limited to one per year

    Hello Divine,

    The new refund policy is all web based when you fill out the form and are denied, you will have to reply to the email that stated you was denied. As Viral stated it very could be why you got denied due to previous refunds.

    You can request a call back and find out when the last refund you had was that may help you get an answer to why it was denied.

    When you go to
    Contact Us
    to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

    • Step 1 ----select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
    • Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips (don't select anything here)
    • Step 4 ----select request a call from support
    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

    I've gotten refunds on digital games before but ok i guess, mind of upsetting but I'm just going to stop here since I'm frustrated.
    That is possibly why it was denied as refunds are normally limited to one per year
