An Strange Error when attempting re-add Friends on Xbox One.

Hello everyone! It's me Dark Assassin.. Maybe a bit of you guys (Or girls) may remember me from a weird post I posted back in the past.. Something about I accidentally unlocking a Assassin's Creed III Achievement by PC somehow..... I am still slowly working
my way towards it legit to redeem myself.. But I seem to be spending more time on Xbox One and Destiny Haha...

Anyway I got a strange problem today (10/13/2016).. Yesterday.. I had two buddies with me doing the raid on The Wrath of The Machine.. Unfortunately it was very late and we failed around 7 or 8 times in the row right in the final boss fight... Everyone went
to sleep.. Now today when I log on Xbox One.. After finishing All Vanguard Bounties and such for the day.. When I look through my friends list.. I noticed my two Buddies gamertag aren't there anymore.. This happen about 4 or 5 times closely similar in the
row..

Now here is the weird part.. When I attempted to re-add my buddies.. The System on Xbox One told me this message: "Sorry, We can't save your changes right now. Try again in a while".. I was like what the heck!. Now It has already been a while and I still
can't re-add them!!...

Now to give you heads up.. I already attempted to add my two buddies through Xbox.com.. But it also doesn't work either.. Something similar of Error or Can't save changes again..

Please everyone who is having these similar issues, Please let me know what to do! I would really appreciate it.

Receiving Error message: Check the gamertag and try searching again (0x87c40006)

I just purchased an Xbox One and am receiving the following error message when attempting to add a Gamertag that I know is valid. I have also attempted to add this friend through the website, only to get an error message there as well. I have reset the system
and checked all router connections and everything is working correctly. Please advise.

Xbox One can't connect with SmartGlass on Surface Pro

I keep getting the following error when attempting to connect to my Xbox One with SmartGlass on my Surface Pro:

We can't connect to your console right now. Error 0x8000001F

What's strange is my Nokia Lumia 920 is connecting with no problems. Anyone else having this problem, or any possible solutions?

 

Please remember everyone.. If you do find a fix for me to somehow fix my problem.. I would really appreciate it.

Now I guess all that remains is for me to wait til someone hopefully knows a fix or similar.

 

Perhaps your two "buddies" actually blocked you?

After 7 or 8 fails in the boss fight I'd consider it if you were on my friends list.

 

I have had this happen to me a few times and tried doing a Power Cycle which lucky worked for me.

 

Hello, In an instance like this those 2 partners/Friends Blocked you but here's a few tips

1. Power Cycle the Xbox Console

2. Delete and re-download the accounts

3. Issue still occurring please go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/browse/my-account/account-errors

Hey Everyone.. I thank you for your respond involving this very old thread or topic.. And I want to say.. I discovered that those two players did indeed blocked me.. I will explain of what happen from that point below.. But first I want to say: I am sorry
for not coming back after this whole time to view your messages and also I am sorry for bringing this old topic back up.. Maybe I should just leave it dead.. But I feel like I am ignoring these players who reply to me.. So now I finally get the chance to reply
now.

Goth Vampirella. I appreciate your answer.. If it wasn't for your very first answer, I probably would had gone a bit crazy back then.. And things wasn't as planned back then.. Even though I did died some points in the final boss, Those two players also died
too.

EvilManicBoss. I did it already back then and they still haven't appeared.. Only for me to discovered I was blocked for no good reason.

NightstepShadow: Thank you.. Yes I did discovered they did indeed blocked me for no real good reason. But also Thank you for your answer and the tips.

Overall: As far I remember of what happen on that Day/Night of October-13-2016. When me and my supposedly buddies and three other players went through The Wrath of The Machine Raid on Normal in Destiny.. Back then The Heroic Mode wasn't available yet (I
think) and I was a rookie back then in the raid (I am sure I was).. At some point in The Final Battle against Aksis Phase 2, I was mostly confused of what was going on despite I did watch YouTube.. I guess I got nervous I suppose?.. Short story is that, In
the very end.. I died multiple times, And My supposedly buddies died multiple times as well... But since I was the only Rookie in that group back then.. I was The One to be Blamed.. Heck some bastard decided to Teabag me in one round when I died after one
of my Supposedly buddie died first... Shortly afterwards, They left and I left to go to sleep.. When I woke up next day.. I discovered they disappeared.. Only later to discovered I was blocked for good from them.. No message, Nothing.. The End of Story.

So... That is how it happen as much I could remember.. I kind of wish I could share their gamertags here but.... I am sure there is a certain rule I must respect.. I think something to do to respect the privacy or similar of others...

Lastly.. My progress on Assassin's Creed 3 has stopped because I sold my Xbox 360.. I am hoping Microsoft can find a way to release Assassin's Creed 3 as Backwards Compatible..
