    An Odd issue using A Bluetooth controller


    I paired my Xbox One Bluetooth Controller... To my device and Two times it worked until I had to take focus off of the app and came back to it. After that The guide button, Y, B, A (possibly the X which I can't test) work excellently... The Start, Select, Dpad and mouth Joysticks do Nothing... Here's way I say it's Odd... If I go to Chrome and use the controller dpad moves it one tick up (or down) depending on if you tap up or down respectively. While the left stick causes the page to scroll down at a steady rate until you counter it by pressing up on it. Meaning the sticks and Dpad are working correctly and are supported by my Bluetooth device, but somehow an APP Designed to be used with it by the people who made that controller can't use it correctly???? How can that be right? I've unpaired (before I realized that it works with other apps) restarted phone. Turned on and off controller and still out won't work with the app correctly.

    That's odd seems like an issue with the phone, did you try deleting your controller from Bluetooth devices, then restart it and try syncing the Xbox controller again?

    Are you able to test it with another android phone?
    This helps us to isolate even more the issue

    LB, RB, X, Y, A, SELECT, START and DPAD does not work.

    So, even after the update the issue persist? That's odd

    Just to confirm, if you connect the controller via cable to the PC or to the Xbox, the issue persists?

    Or if you connect the controller via bluetooth with a phone, are you able to test? Or not at all?

    Oh, that's odd that it's happening with three different controllers. Are you connected via Bluetooth or wireless adapter?

    This issue could be due to a Bluetooth compatibility issue between the controller and your computer. Try updating the Bluetooth drivers on your computer, or checking for any available firmware updates for your computer's Bluetooth adapter. If the issue persists, you may need to try a different Bluetooth adapter or use a cable to connect the controller to your computer.

    Yeah, they are official xbox controllers. Its just weird that the controller that keeps blinking when used on the xbox works perfectly on my PC with absolutely no problems at all. I don't see how it can only be faulty on one platform and perfectly fine on
    another.

    Anyway, its too old to replace with a warranty, but at least it still works on the PC, so i can't complain. thanks for the advice guys.
