An observation…and a rant

I begin to feel like one of those old grouches who chase all the kids out of their yard. I looked in at Auridon today but left. It's too crowded. It feels like the French Quarter at Mardi Gras. I needed to rearrange some stuff so the two characters I am
really playing have some inventory space. I also need to get the materials for each race into the hands of the one who can use them but it was too much like work.

PLUS (and here's the rant) I am getting really tired of all the big white horses galloping right up to the crafting station or the door of a building and running me down. I mean really, were these people raised in a barn? Have they no legs or sense of the
rightness of things? It kind of ruins immersion, ya, know? *sigh* I don't feel better but will when I don't have to fight everyone for the pickings or the right of way. Rant over.

Its still being sold at below cost either together or singularly its not costing you extra because there is no other way to buy the console by itself. This is it.They have every right to remove kinect and still charge $500 because its still below cost.
But they want to include it because its part of the UI and the console itself despite it having a chord. Phones cost more than that, which is more Fun?

I love how Microsoft is the only company that can't design & package THEIR product how they see fit. Numerous products are made where we have zero say in options. You either like it & buy it, the pros for you outweigh the cons & you buy it, or you don't
like it & don't buy it, or the cons outweigh the pros & you don't buy it.

 

Haha. Zenimax are trying to get as many subs as they can at the moment. That's one of the reasons I levelled very fast to the veteran zones. There are less crowds there.

 

But isn't that where all the bots are, or are they in Cyrodil?

 

No the bots are in the starter areas. There's almost none in the veteran zones because of the main quest completion requirement to even be there.

 

I know this is late but most of the bots are completely gone now! Rare to find one anymore.

 

Hi Angelous, long time since you were around. So, you are no longer entranced huh? Curious that you don't like ESO because there are too many single players. Does that mean you can't slip into an Elder Scrolls mindset if you are in an environment where grouping
is important? I've just been piddling along minding my business, noticing the bots are mostly gone so I can pick flowers again. I kind of like not having to fight unless I want to go find a fight.

 

I've been busy with some home remodeling but, still been playing PC and visiting here. Seems no one is here anymore. Not as much as used to be.

I do like the single player stuff but, there is so much fun to be had grouping. I get very few invites and the last 3 folks I tried to invite just declined. Seems the "Grouping" is going south. I haven't seen you in the game yet. Probably your faction but
I do see Orcs and Bretons all over. I'm just about to start a new toon and I do believe it will be an Elf of some kind. I've just been working on Crafting and exploring. Fights and dungeons come as they will. Been to the Cyrodyill a couple times but nothing
to brag about.

 

Hi, Angelus. I have never left Auridon. I have a Bosmer Nightblade at Level 9 and remade an Altmer Sorceress who's carefully doing Khenarthi's Roost. I don't expect to leave Auridon until the console version drops. I just take my time and pick flowers if
I don't feel like fighting, go whack wuffs (and alits) if I need rawhide and take my time on the quests. I die a lot if I am just at the quest level and you know how I feel about dying. I've never been a grouper or even wanted a companion so I play for a couple
of hours most weekdays when things are quiet and Zi can pretend I really am the chosen one. Too much time at the computer hurts my back even with a comfortable chair and my wrist starts to complain as well.

 

I think playing as you like is more important than anything. With all that is going on here at home I don't spend nearly as much time as I did when I started out. I finish a map and then move on. Some things are just too hard for me to do on my own so I
hang out till I find some helpful fun folks to run with. I'm slowly breaking into the "Rift" area and having a good time. I run away a lot and get real sneaky. It's fun to watch some of the hardier players get through some of the tasks. Then again watching
them get whacked just lets me know I'm not ready yet. LOL!

You mentioned earlier, having the right skill sets with the right weapons and that makes perfectly good sense to me. I still barely take out some of the higher level critters but the "battle engine" still needs a lot of work for me to like it much. It has
no "feel" for me and I get confused mid battle some times. I look at the bad guys health bar and see mine, then all of a sudden I'm dead and that replay thing comes up. I just have to giggle because that doesn't really help me at all. LOL!

I should have won but??? Who knows why it happens.

 

HI guys, just throwing it out there.. if you play on DC or AD look me up @Blacksmurf29 on the PC version.

Hoping for some XBox One players to play with as make a PC guild until we get some sort of news, dates, etc.

*Crossing my fingers that this doesn't get cancelled for X1 and PS4

**True Fantasy Live online was my first big hope and if this too gets cancelled I will just move on as I'm not interested in playing on PC for much longer with the current state of the game. Its too expensive to not have a much better endgame PvE.

Not looking for another WoW experience either.

 

I've been thinking about another toon before too long. I'll look you up NewBlacksmurf!

 

...I quit. At this point, I really could care less if they release the game on the console or not.
