An observation I have made in relation to getting signed out on this site

As many people are aware, and are somewhat annoyed by, the Xbox website constantly signs you out. Even Xbox support staff on these forums have reported it happening to them. Whether a solution to this problem is going to appear
soon, I wouldn't know, but I have noticed a certain pattern occurring. If I'm signed into this site, and my Xbox One gamerpic is at the top of screen, I'm not getting signed out. But if my Xbox 360 gamertag appears at the top of the screen, the site will
sign me out.

What I would like to know is, does anyone else notice the same thing happening to them? And, if you don't own an Xbox One, are you able to be kept signed in at all?

The blank pic and Loading... for a tag have reappeared and I still keep getting signed out when moving around the site.

All I have is an Xbox 360 and the site keeps signing me out when I go to look at a profile (mine or someone else's) and when I go to the My Account section.

Waste of time ticking the Keep Me Signed In box to be honest.

 

Same here with clicking on profiles, including my own.

 

Not had any problem with being signed out, no matter what part of the site I am browsing.

Just seems really slowwwwww when updating!

 

Sounds like the MS devs here don't know how a cookie works. Or much else about the web for that matter...

 

Yeah I get signed out as well if I try to look at anybodies profile. But I don't see the point of that anyway, I try to compare my games achievements to others that have played it and it never shows me what anybody else has. The OP here for example has played
saints row 3 and 4, as I can see under his avatar, I've played both of those but if I try to compare with the OP all I see are my own achievements and all of his are blank. It's that way with every person I've tried regardless of game I try to compare. Makes
me wonder what the function is even there for if it isn't usable.

 

I only have a 360 profile, and when I'm browsing I usually sign into Outlook first and check all my mails, and then I come over here, and I'm still signed in, and I can check people's profiles and compare games without being signed out.

Windows 7 Pro with Mozilla Firefox if that helps anyone. Sometimes use Opera too though.

I do get signed out occasionally when using the Explorer app on 360 though. Edit: Also, I sign myself out before exiting the browser, so that means I sign in every time I boot up, as opposed to being signed in from the off when I open the browser. *shrug*

I haven't had a problem with xbox.com yet and it signing me out. Does it just sign you guys out randomly or something?
