An issue i have with the Minecraft Migration

So 2 years ago, I bought Minecraft for my Mac, and when i try to play it again, it says i have to migrate. My issue with that, is that once i have successfully migrated, it would only let me play a demo of the game. So that means i have to buy Minecraft Java Edition, Again. I don't wanna have to do that so if someone knows how to fix this, i would really appreciate it.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

As per Mojang, there may be two main reasons why we're experiencing this issue.

1. You migrated your Mojang account to a Microsoft account and logged in using the wrong account type. If you have migrated your Mojang account you must use your Microsoft account to log in.

2. You purchased Minecraft: Java Edition after December 1, 2020 and logged in using the wrong account type. If you purchased after that date, you MUST use your Microsoft account to log in.

On your launcher, kindly sign out and then restart your device before signing back in. Make sure to choose Microsoft Login as well as make sure that it's the correct Microsoft account.

Another thing i forgot to mention was the mojang and microsoft accounts were under the same email. Hope that helps.

Once a Minecraft account is migrated to a Microsoft account, it is permanently associated with that account. Unfortunately, you can't change this after migrating.

To clarify, you are having issues accessing Minecraft on the account you migrated it to?

I have the same issue, they're a month late migrating the accounts. I'm locked out of minecraft until that happens.

I bought from minecraft.net but they leave a recorded message in their ticket saying contact microsoft support
