    An illegal state change was requested Minecraft error.


    Today I bought Minecraft bedrock addition because I wanted to play with one of my friends on Xbox. So I jumped through all the usual hoops and installed it onto my computer. I launched the game and was prompted to sign into my Xbox live account. This account is connect to the Microsoft account I used to buy the game so I gave them my computer password when prompted followed by my Microsoft account username an password. After entering all my Information I am prompted with a screen that says "Cant sign into x-box live" followed by "an illgeal state change was made" .I didn't know what that meant but i tried searching online for answer but didn't really find anything. The only issue I could think of is the fact the i have my old Microsoft account attached t my computer sign in. I tried restarting my computer and my internet as well as log in with both accounts and change the passwords and usernames of both accounts and still nothing has worked. is there any way to fix the issue or have I just wasted my money on a game that wont work?

    Check for updates on Windows Update and install everything including optional/additional updates.

    Check if your time zone is set to automatic in settings>date and time

    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store in the Windows bar, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.

    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

    4. Install the Xbox Companion app and log in with your account on this app too

    5. Login with your account again in both apps and try again
