It took me and my mate around 2 hours to complete the first level on "Cadet" difficulty lol, ( we had a few breaks in that time )

Like you said, just got to learn the areas, take your time etc ..

Still a fantastic game though!

 

We were trying to figure out if the game difficulty also scaled to the number of people in the game. I don't think I could ever complete any map even on Cadet solo if it doesn't.

Playing with randoms that scoreboard became a nightmare. I spent more time rez'ing guys that ran into groups of zombies trying to get points than I did shooting anything.

Like you said tons of content. At least 15 Left for Dead style maps and then a Horde mode I haven't even tried yet.

 

I'll have to double check myself when I play it next but it was my mate that was hosting the game but he did say it had the option to allow more enemies based on the number of co-op players. I'm sure he said you could set the number of enemies as if you
were playing on your own even if there was 2 or more of you playing co-op to make it easier.

Again, will have to double check this myself.

 

I just checked and your friend is correct, in fact it says directly under the difficulty levels "enemy spawns are set to be appropriate fro the current number of players".

There is also a "enemy setup" under the difficulty choices that looks like you can actually set it to 1 player spawns yet play with more players.

It's good to see there is more options , I was beginning to doubt I'd ever finish some of the maps ;p

It is a tricky game.

Me and the same friend finished Sniper Elite 3 in co-op on the hardest setting, that was pretty tough but can't see us doing the same on Zombies lol

 

You talk about the Zombie game where you can kill all this nazi zombies and even their head.

I always wanted to kill that guy so I think that game looks like it will have a lot of ROFL moments.

So I should get that one. I checked the screenshots and I already had to laugh.

So is it fun?

I bet I cant get it for now but I will later lol

I've only played the campaign so far ( I hear the Horde Mode is very good ) but I'm having a lot of fun with this game. Great playing solo and even better in co-op with a friend.

Have you played any of the Sniper Elite titles? If so and you liked them well I'd pretty much say you'd enjoy this. It's basically Sniper Elite with Zombies!

 

Ordered this up last night for £22, looking forward to it after hearing good things.

 

I've come to the conclusion that this game is awesome, I've played the campaign solo and coop as well as the horde mode and it's great fun all round. I haven't been game enough to go above the cadet difficulty yet, but getting much more used to it now might
start bumping it up.

So far M1 Carbine, shotgun and M1911 have been my load out, tried some of the other snipers and assault rifles and wasn't too impressed.

 

I'm using the Carbine all the time now.

Shotgun is my second weapon of choice, great if you get cornered and need some hefty fire power. Assault rifles are ok, I just find I run out of ammo too quick lol

Fantastic game, it is tough but you just got to take your time, don't go running in COD style.

 

Is the game censored?

"Sniper Elite" is sensored so that you cannot see the swastika symbols as these are illegal in Germany... and the developer couldn't be asked making a different version for them.

So is this game censored or not?

@Az - I was actually looking at the swastikas and thinking, weren't these banned in video games back in the wolfenstein days? They're everywhere in ZAT as well as the SS eagles etc.

If anyone knows which sniper rifle can travel through 5 enemies, I'd be interested in knowing what it is, haha.
