    Hi i try to connect my Xbox account to among us because i didn't like being a guest and with my Wi-Fi on it says pls put in your parent's or your Gmail and when i did that it asked for my credit card and something else so i didn't do it but i had it working until i took a break and came back on it stopped i keped looking for any thing to fix this but there were none and the i went to inner sloth link page i clicked ''windows 10 = Xbox'' and it said pls try again and i when to go ply something else then i came back looked at my game nothing happened i go do the link page again and guess what?..... IT DIDNT work! so here i am writing to you guys i hope the Microsoft team fix this Also am on Pc windows 10 Thanks Bye!

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    Have you been added to a Microsoft family?

    From what I understand from your question, the system is detecting you as a child in your region. Thus, it is asking you to enter a parent's email address in for them to continue, or you enter your own email address in.

    Once you have done this, it is moving onto the next step, which is to verify that you are an adult. Thus, asking for your credit card details to deduct 1p or 1 cent (It may even be 50p or 50 cent now).

    After you have verified, you're an adult, it will connect your account and allow you to play. If your parents do this using their account, they will need to verify they are an adult and provide their credit card details. Then it will add you to a family, then allow you to play the game.

    I think this is what you are referring to, but am not sure exactly.
