    American Xbox One in The Netherlands?


    Hi,

    I got an AmericanXbox One delivered today, the problem is i live in The Netherlands. I have already read something about this issue and i know i can't use this Xbox One straight away. The American model is a 100-110V and the Dutch model is a 220-240V. This
    would mean i have to use a voltage regulator. My question was if anyone else had to deal with this already, and how they fixed it? (if someone has an exact site of where to buy a correct voltage regulator that would be great swell)

    American Xbox One in the UK???

    You would need a U.K. power brick.

    You should never use any kind of power converter/step down generator with your console.

    Hi all,

    Recently my dad went on a trip to the USA and bought an American Xbox One, I know that the Xbox one is region free so games and TV's aren't a problem but how will I connect it in regards to power? Do I just replace the power cable with a UK PSU? Or would
    I need a step down generator?

    Hi ajabu JIMZ,

    It does look like it may be possible to change the power from the Xbox One 110v US to the 220-240 Europe. That said, this would totally be at your own risk. This would not be something that would be supported by Microsoft, and whenever you're changing power
    voltage using a converter there is a chance that you can brick your Xbox by sending it the wrong voltage power.

    I did inform about this matter in the live chat Xbox Support and the guy told me it was indeed possible.

    I would advise to contact Xbox Support to see if you can buy a Power Supply that matches the region via them. Not sure if it is possible though.

    Just be aware that use of a power regulater can cause issues.

    The only difference between countries is the power brick the console is the same where ever you live.

    You will need a power brick which is the same as Holland just make sure its a Microsoft product.
