    American Xbox 360 move to Europe


    So recently I have moved to France and have brought my North-American Xbox 360 Slim with me and I have done a bit of research concerning the use of an American xbox power supply (brick) in a European country (France). Even though I have some cheap travel
    adapters for the different sockets (which I hear are not so good with some appliances due to overheating) , I have seen on forums across the internet that because of the different voltages overseas, that using an American Xbox 360 power supply in Europe might
    fry the console. So, should I purchase a European xbox power supply and use it in my American xbox? I have heard that the amount of pins vary between Various country-specific power supplies and that i may not be able to use a European power brick in an American
    xbox. Also, would buying a decent quality travel adapter allow me to convert the voltage? Also, if I would have to buy a European power brick, would I need to buy the brick and the cord that plugs into the wall, or just the brick? Thank you for your time.

    You can play games from the U.S. region or region free,not just games from the PAL region.

    If you buy games from Europe you will need a PAL console to play them.

    Hope you enjoy the country.

    What I would suggest here is contact support for France and let them know what you want to do. They will be able to let you know if a new power brick will work on your North American console and set up the purchase for you.

    Ok thanks do you think there is a French Xbox thread I could post in because I am much more confident speaking to someone via messages rather than over the phone because my French is still rusty and speaking to people over the phone makes thinks so much
    harder to understand with the speed of their speech and the phone distorting certain words. Thank you for your answer though.
