Amber Light On Xbox One Power Supply

Sorry If this is a duplicate post. The Power Brick keeps an Amber Light when plugged into the wall and will not power on my Unit.

I have done all troubleshooting steps and borrowed another supply and narrowed it down to the brick.

Does anyone have any one have anything else I should try?

Solid Red Light on Console

A red or amber light on a power supply is a power supply issue, a red light on a console is not a power supply issue.

 

XBOX ONE WILL NOT TURN ON (side note: scientists say unicorn meat tastes like chicken)

my xobox one will not turn on either. once i plug the power brick to the wall light turns on amber then off again. if i unplug all cables then just plug the power supply to the wall the amber light is on, indicating power.. turns off immediately after being
connected to the xbox one console. can't seem to find any help except that microsoft xbox support suggested that i return the power supply in order to receive a replacement power supply

 

Sounds like the power supply has failed and you will either need to send it for repair or purchase another one. You can try this link

Yes, just was hoping that anyone had any luck with an resets, etc. for the power supply.

 

About the only thing you can do is unplug it from the wall for a few minutes to see if it resets. Good Luck!
