Ambassador Abuse

I am currently playing a on a PVE server on Conan Exiles and have constantly been griefed by a couple of players (they are boyfriend and girlfriend) in game. They are kiting bosses into my base and killing my in game pets/thralls. They have done this
multiple times.

They also constantly messaged my via Live messenger harassing me when I told them in game to stop.

I have reported them via Live multiple times but the Conan Exiles game itself doesnt have a way to report players in game even on pve servers since its a survival game.

Yesterday, after I was in game and watched them kite multiple boss mobs to my base I confronted them on Live Messenger. They are denying that they did this even thought I was in the game and watched them do it.

When after arguing on Live the girl says shes an Ambassador and I will get suspended. (I am also in the Ambassador program)

They continued messaging me even after I blocked one of them and reported their messages. But today I have a comm ban and they dont.

Today they killed all of my pets in game.

This system isnt fair nor is it impartial, especially considering since their actions in game are what started the entire conflict. They continue to harass me in game via the building system and also kiting boss creatures to my base.

I feel the only fair solution would be to also ban them as well, especially considering what they are doing griefing and harassing me in game is against ToS and its something they initiated.

Ever since the ambassador program was opened up to everyone it went to crap. I gladly turned mine in as it was more of an embarrassment to have it than just be a regular user. They need to take it back to the original ambassador program and do away with
the "xpert" members.

There's 21,697 ambassadors, give or take, depending on being active or not. Half would be 10,848. So, what if we say that the one half isn't doing what they should be doing and are just in it for rewards? That still leaves a good amount left that do actually
want to help out the XBL community. But let's go further, 5,424 would be "not even half" but then you're left with 16,273 that still want to help out as much as they can. This is all just an example, but either way it's still a good amount helping out and
actually caring.

 

Hi, if things are still the same as they used to be that suspension could well see you kicked out of the Ambassador program.

In these instances as difficult as it is you're best to report the abuse using the tools on your Xbox and block that other person, under no circumstances is it a good idea to respond in a manner that would breach the Terms of use or Code of conduct or indeed
even respond at all.

Obviously that other person reported you hence the suspension.

I dont care about being kicked out of the program. I care about being harassed by another person in the program when they are the ones doing things against the terms of service by griefing me.

I have gone thru the proper channels of reporting them and nothing happens. Seems like its rewarding the criminal in this circumstance.

So if I got get kicked out they should also be kicked out.

It can take a while for the enforcement team to take any action if they deem there to be any action needed. Although they do seem to act quickly in some cases and not others which is weird. If you reported it then according to the enforcement website all
reports are looked at by a human, maybe.

As for the Ambassador role, it's a pity you don't care but that of course is your choice. Hopefully if that other person is deemed to have broken the rules the appropriate action will be taken.

Report, block them, and don't communicate with them. Right now, from my perspective the only person in the wrong is you because you've received a communications ban.

 

Yeah and I received the ban for my response to harassment by the griefing player thru the messaging system even though I already blocked them but their messages still go thru.

Its cool I just wont give MS anymore of my money.

 

Sorry to hear it. I don't see an Ambassador tag under your name so am unsure if you're actually in the ambassador program or not. If you are then you should keep this private and message your ACE regarding it. They will handle it internally as well.

If you are not in the program or are unsure who your ACE is then you could pm me the tags of these people and I will pass them on for you.

In the meantime your best bet here is to report them using the dashboard reporting tools then block them so they cannot contact you again.

To report someone go to their bio and select Report or Block then follow the instructions provided. This will be sent to the PET to investigate and take any necessary action on. Only report them once as the PET investigate claims from the oldest to newest
(bottom to top). Each extra report from you sends them back to the top of the list.

 

Playing devil's advocate for a moment, the whole point of Conan Exiles is to wipe out other players. They really arent doing anything wrong in-game (and I say this as someone who studied up on the game).

Regarding the claim of Ambassador Abuse, reach out to MS directly about this and make sure you have chat ligs / screen shots available for them. If that sort of thing is happening its unacceptable.
