    Amazon xbox live code redeemed to wrong account


    I purchased xbox live on Amazon today and then followed the online instructions to redeem code, my son then tried to put the code into his xbox but was told it had already been redeemed. I have just spent ages with online support going round in circles with
    them telling me its been redeemed to another account which I clearly know, all I would like is some help on how my poor son does not lose his hard earned £15 and how he can get the code to his xbox.

    Xbox One code redeemed on wrong account

    I redeemed a game code that I received when I purchased Assassins Creed: Origins Deluxe edition on my wrong account and I'm wondering if there's a way I can redeem it again (with proof of purchase of game and code of course).

    Just purchased the digital code for Halo 5 from Amazon and clicked the "Redeem at XBOX LIVE" button. This apparently logged in automatically using defunct account credentials (still sitting in the browser's saved login info), and the code was redeemed to
    the wrong account (i.e., this one). How do I transfer to my active account?

    So i use a £10 gift card top up on amazon then i use that to buy another £10 gift card that you redeem the same to topup £10 on xbox i know i bought a amazon card but they both are 25 character digital top up code you know £10 amazon is the same

    Yes. You must use the £10 on your amazon account (after you redeem the code if you had one) and then purchase a £10 xbox gift card and then redeem that on Xbox for the money.

    Amazon gift card is not the same as an Xbox Gift card, even if they have the same amount of characters in a code. If you try to enter it, it will not accept it.

    For example, you will need to buy this (if you're in the UK in the URL):

    If the co.uk is not your country, please go to Amazon and search for £10 xbox gift card. It will be emailed to your email that you have on Amazon and then you redeem it here:
    https://redeem.microsoft.com/enter and then you have the money in your account to use.

    The £10 must be either on a card that says "Xbox Gift Card £10" or you must purchase an Xbox digital gift card code on Amazon for £10 that you redeem here:

    You can't redeem Amazon gift cards or currency in Amazon accounts for currency in your Microsoft/Xbox account - you must buy an Xbox Gift Card (or code) with that money on it.

    Hi,

    My son has bought and xbox live gold digital code on Amazon. He redeemed the code onto the wrong account by accident. I was wondering if theres any way you can move the voucher from one account onto another without paying for another one? Thanks.
    Youd have to check with customer service to see if there is anything they can do but generally speaking nothing is transferable between accounts.

    If you purchased from Amazon, they should be able to help you with your code with a replacement. It sounds like Amazon gave you the wrong code. However, I never had a code already redeemed so I'm not 100% sure.

    purchase the codes through amazon with your pp, then just redeem on xbox account. the codes can be viewed online as soon as you purchase them .
