    Amazon Video - Lovefilm


    After the latest X-Box one update I cannot stream films in Amazon Prime with any reasonable level of quality.. Other streaming services are working just fine (You Tube, BBC i-Player, 4oD) I have done a power down reset and clear cache and still have problems.
    The X-box network test says I have 35Mb download and 3.5Mb upload so plenty of bandwidth. Each time I launch a video it plays a few seconds in HD, buffers then slowly switches the quality down to something below 280 making it unwatchable.

    Anyone else having this problem, any Ideas to fix it?

    Yes, I too am having this problem. Since the dashboard update, I have yet to achieve anywhere NEAR HD quality in Amazon, while having no issues in Twtich, Netflix or YouTube.

    My speeds are 24 down, 3 up, 30ms latency. Well within recommended limits.

    JUST for the heck of it, I decided to follow the Xbox support guide. I switched ports, cables, and everything else to no avail. This started happened the very day I updated my console.

    I went through the xbox troubleshooting guide and contacted xbox through chat. They could not help so they directed me to contact amazon . I am in chat with them now and will update as I find out more.

    This all started since the last update.

    So amazon is no great help. they are trying to blame my bandwith (i am at 84mbps) and saying they have no reports of other issues. I can literally switch from the xbox to the amazon app on my smart tv and it works fine. I suggest anyone with this problem,
    contact amazon immediately so that they start to treat this as a problem.
