    Amazon video app child permissions

I have an xbox live account and so does my 7 year old. He is set up as my child so i manage his content permissions. WHenever i try to access my amazon video app, it doesnt actually let me do anything while he is signed into the xbox. It had a padlock
icon over everything. I have to close the app. log him off, then open the app back up. This can be pretty frustrating and annoying to say the least. How do i grant him permissions to see content inside of amazon video app?

    Ive done this

Adult and Child Signed In | Xbox One Security

i think, it no longer asks me whos going to grant him permission. maybe i need to redo it?

i think i could change the setting globally, but i dont want to do that because i dont want him to access mature content inside of other apps and games. how do i do it ONLY for the amazon video aapp?

    :)

    Amazon instant video

Amazon Instant Video shows any films purchased through Amazon and any Amazon Prime content.

Xbox doesn't have a Prime App, rather Xbox Video which only shows films and shows purchased through Xbox Store.

If films/shows purchased from Amazon aren't showing in Amazon Instant Video app you will need to contact Amazon Customer Support to verify your purchases.

Remember, Amazon Prime content changes so they remove films/shows periodically and add new ones. Amazon Instant Video purchases remain all the time.

  3. parental controls on youtube app

I'm wondering how I can stop my child from loading the Youtube app. I have tight parental controls set up, but I think because the app is free and my child is older than 8, the child can just load the app without asking parental permission. How can I
block the app? And/or how can I lock the app into restricted mode?

    Prime Video

It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

    Hey GAUV,

I'll post the link again this way:
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/apps/amazon-instant-video-setup

"To watch Amazon Instant Video content on your console, you need:

    • To be signed into an Xbox Live
    • At least 75 megabytes (MB) of available storage space"

"Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
    2. Browse or search for Amazon.
    3. Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.
To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select
    Amazon."

If you still can't see the app then I would recommend to
    clear the console system cache.
