Amazon Prime “something went wrong”

    Amazon Prime “something went wrong”


    I’ve been using Amazon prime on Xbox for some time, but on the past 10 days or so, I’m getting the “Something went wrong, please try again later” message when I press the Watch Now (play) button. Some times I’m also getting the “HDMI error” message. Amazon Prime didn’t have any updates, just my Alpha Skip ahead on my Series X had updates when the message started showing up, and I haven’t been able to watch Prime since then. I tried reinstalling the app, signing out/in, removed the device from the registered devices list, using a different HDMI, different TV. I’m pretty sure it’s the alpha skip ahead, not Amazon’s or any hardware issue. Other streaming services like AppleTV work, so it’s not an HDCP error, and the same Prime account works on my other Xbox (One X on beta). I’ve already reported it on my SeriesX.

    NO MORE HBO GO ON XBOX ONE?

    Prob. waiting for the Amazon Prime/HBO deal that recently went down. Apparently tomorrow, May 21, HBO series, movies, etc will be integrated into Amazon Prime.
