Amazon Prime - code 5266, Xbox series X

Hey,

for some time I have issue the prime app on my Xbox. Initially it worked just fine. Then out of nowhere it stopped. After relatively long time loading screen it displays "5266" and empty orange box.

I've tried to reinstall App, I've reset my modem and disconnected console from power etc. nothing helps. Simultaneously prime works on my TV, computer and mobile. Somehow only issue is the Xbox (netflix work on the console as it should).

Amazon support claims the issue is not on their side and directed me to contact microsoft support.

JacekM#, try to uninstall the app, then try this:

First, clean the cache of your console that way:

1. With the console turned on, hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until you hear a small sound.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Turn it back on.

Note: It may take a while for it to turn on, don't worry, it's normal.

Then, restore your console keeping the games and apps:

***IMPORTANT*** If you share accounts with someone, you will have to redo the process of placing the account as the main one again, be aware of the chances you still have to do this, as Microsoft makes available per year, only 5 chances so you can make some account your console's main account.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the dashboard.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console Information >

3. Select Reset console > Restore and keep my games and apps.

4. When asked to pull settings from an old Xbox, choose no, thanks

5. You will have to log in to your accounts again, and when you sign in with your account, make sure you turn it has your home console also, that's it.

NOTE: Rest assured, you won't lose games or saves

Prob. waiting for the Amazon Prime/HBO deal that recently went down. Apparently tomorrow, May 21, HBO series, movies, etc will be integrated into Amazon Prime.

I checked the list and have done all they have listed. I have reset the router, factory reset the box, uninstalled and reinstalled the Amazon Prime video.

I have spent 5 hours with amazon support and 2 hours with Xbox support. I have an Xbox One and Xbox One X that have the same problem with Amazon Prime Video.

I can go into Prime Video, select a video, the video will play, I hear the audio but have a black screen.

I have tried the Xbox on two T.V.s. I tried the Amazon Prime Video on the Xbox 360 and it works.

Amazon Prime Video is worked up until 10 days ago. And is the only video app not working correctly.

Panasonic right? Is it on HDMI 3? if so please switch it to 1 or 2

You should contact Amazon with the bug otherwise, as it is specific to their app.
