    Amazon instant video stays on authenticating page


    As the title reads, I sign into xbox live and go to amazon instant video and the wheels on the bus go round and round and it simply reads "authenticating" I have removed the apps, cleared my caches, reformatted my drive.. downloaded my profile... reinstalled
    the app and the same thing keeps happening.

    It was working fine yesterday.. but today is a different story and if any one has a fix for this would be well appreciated as Vikings 3 started yesterday

    i got into it by going to the advert for bosch then selecting the "watch the first episode free " hope it works for you.

    Ive got the same problem. done the normal uninstall and reinstall stuff. but still same.

    It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

    Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
    2. Browse or search for Amazon.
    3. Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.
    To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select Amazon.

    Lag in multiplayer games.

    As the help page I mentioned says that streaming video requires the same latency as online gaming, I will add that streaming in HD from Netflix and Amazon instant video works perfectly.

    If you still can't see the app then I would recommend to
    clear the console system cache.

    If you are referring to Amazon instant video, go to the head to the dashboard/ select Apps tile/ search for Amazon instant video. You should be able to download it from there.
