Amazon Instant video "Sorry there's been a problem"

I have noticed that a small number of videos will display an the following error when trying to play: "Sorry, there's been a problem Please try again later. If this error persists, please contact Amazon.com customer service at 1-877-442-1958 CDP.internal"
I called Amazon after not long I was told that it is due to an issue in how the Xbox One is using DRM and only affects a small number of videos. Amazon is currently investigating but does not expect to have a fix until a newer version is rewritten. This was
not the end of the world as my kids were able to go watch the movie (Neverending Story II) on our old $70 Blu-Ray player that I moved to a different room so I could have the "all in one" revolutionary media center in the family room. Once again, Xbox disappointment.
The doubled paid for Amazon service (Amazon + Live) works better on the cheap Blu-Ray player (does not need Live) than it works on the Microsoft machine. Along with movies that play out of lip sync, multiplayer games that boot you out and gamertag/kid account
nightmare.

Same issue, getting the following error when attempting to watch a video on Amazon Instant Video through my Xbox 360... Sorry, Amazon Instant Video isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/status. Error code: AP1001

Amazon Instant Video

Anyone got Amazon Instant Video to work yet? I can get in the app and sign in but trying to play any videos just says "Something went wrong, try again or pick another video. MP1032" Works fine on my 360 and smart TV so Amazon is definitely up and running.

I've just come across this problem and wondered what it was , how can they allow certain things to be viewed and not others ?

It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

Install the Amazon Instant Video app

From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
Browse or search for Amazon.
Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.

To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select Amazon.
