    Newly purchased XBox - still have box- ready to return due to frustration of logging into and purchasing movies and shows from Amazon. I have been streaming from Amazon for years with PS3, PS4 and most recently smart TV app but wanted the "promised" 4K
    experience. I will not log in and purchase from another device just to watch a show or movie that's always been accessible through console before. Most disappointed that I see from other forums that this has been an on going issue for 3 years?? Tells me
    you do not intend to fix. This is absolutely an XBOX issue, not Amazon. Tell me there is an update available to fix this??

    What's the specific issue you're running into? We're able to assist with issues with launching or loading apps, however, any issues encountered within the app may need to be assisted with by the developer of that app. Additionally, we're unable to assist
    with any purchasing issues encountered within the app, as that is a 3rd party app. Once we have some specific information, we can further narrow down what next steps should be.

    Couple things hit my mind!

    The thing about the one that blew my mind is it immediately set me up with like 720p which is fine and all but if I own a 1080p TV id like to utilize it! Just for fun run over to your setting menu and select display see if this is your case as well!

    Also take a loot at your frate rate, adjust it as well to your TV specs!

    It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

    Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
    2. Browse or search for Amazon.
    3. Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.
    To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select Amazon.

    If you still can't see the app then I would recommend to
    clear the console system cache.

    Last October this happened to me for about 3 weeks and I tried everything I thought I could do. My Xbox had to go in for repair and they ended up replacing the hard drive so i had to do a full reboot. After the reboot it worked fine and still is. So if
    you have tried absolutely everything else, I would suggest a factory reset and see (as always i would say only if you cannot think of anything else though)
