Amazon App No Sound

I get sound for every other App and game on my XBox one, but am suddenly getting no sound for anything coming through Amazon Streaming. No idea what could be causing this, console did an update and have had this issue ever since.

Amazon Instant Video sound problem

During playback of Amazon videos, the background music plays normally, but there is no voice soundtrack. Lips move, background music plays, but no voices. I tried playing several different videos, Justified, Fringe, but it's the same for everything from
Amazon. The sound is fine on TV pass through, in the YouTube app, playing DVDs, but not through the Amazon app. I can play Amazon videos like normal using Roku. My setup FYI:

1. DVR -> hdmi -> X1 -> hdmi -> TV

2. DVR= MotorolaDCT-6416

Did a power cycle today to fix the 0x8027025a error code issue, but that didn't fix the Amazon app sound issue.

No audio from Amazon app or dolby access demos

Does anyone have audio issues since installing dolby access? Not sure if the dolby access app or an xbox update caused the issues..

I have no audio from my Amazon app whatsoever and the dolby access app has no audio during the demo videos.

I have selected Bitstream out and dolby atmos as directed. These problems below still exist no matter what audio output I choose in the settings.

I get the system sounds from the dolby access app like the chime when selecting videos, but the actual videos have no sound. When I play the demo videos the receiver shows its receiving an atmos signal but there is no sound.

I get absolutely zero sound from the Amazon video app.

The other apps work OK and I get atmos from blu ray movies.

Update: I installed the Amazon Instant Video app and the surround sound works flawlessly with 5.1 programs in that app.

So this indicates the problem is with the Netflix app itself.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is there possibly a fix coming?

Have you reached out to Amazon in regards to this message? Because this is a device error rather than in-app, it sounds like it may be an issue on their side.

Ardl, I'm a little confused by your suggestion. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you. I'm not talking about watching two videos simultaneously. I'm talking about watching two videos at different times on the same Xbox One: first we watch one video that has been
purchased with my Amazon account, then we switch to another video purchased with her Amazon account afterwards. In order to do this, we have to reboot the whole console between videos to get the app to use the Amazon account linked to her Xbox Live Gold profile.

The app does not let you switch between Amazon accounts easily if you have multiple Xbox Live Gold profiles with their own associated Amazon accounts.

It sounds like you are suggesting that we manually sign out of Amazon and re-enter the Amazon login credentials any time we want to switch Amazon accounts without rebooting. That doesn't sound like a good option to me. There's not much point in the app associating
an Amazon account with an Xbox Live profile, if people have to reboot the whole console to get the app to switch between them. Regardless, I think I'd rather reboot than entering the email address and password every time we want to switch.

Sounds like your xbox was turning on HDR as soon as the app opened (like it used to do with Netflix). That is not supposed to be the case. Not all content on amazon is shot in HDR thus HDR mode should not be on if you watching non-HDR content. only some
amazon originals and a select few movies are in HDR
