Amazing Spiderman 2 joins Titanfall and others with Horrible Screen Tearing

I'm not saying it's the cause at all. But it can be a factor. Just go ahead and write "screen tearing" into Google and I can guarantee that nearly everything that comes up has to do with the display. I'm not saying it's completely what's causing it but it
is a factor in it!

 

@LocatingMist55 - There are fanboys on here from both sides, including people who sign up for a free Silver gamertag (that has no gamerscore or played games on it), just so they can troll.

 

Sigma I'm not disagreeing with you at all. To say it's only the tv is wrong indeed. But at the same time, to say it has no bearing on it at all is also wrong. In other words blaming the xbox one or the developers alone is as bad as the other people saying
that it is only caused by tv's.

 

Dufful googling vsync will clear things up for you.... The standard refresh rate is 60hz using a 60hz or a 120hz. Xb1 uses 60 hz and wther u use 120hz or a common 60hz tv it doesnt matter screen tearing in that instance is not the tvs fault.

MS have to share a bulk of the blame, it was MS that designed the One.

It was MS that supplied the developers with the software and development kits.

I don't understand why its hard to believe that it has screen tearing, its been posted by many people on titanfall forums, in the subsection of games for xbox one for titanfall, the game even has lag, lots of post on this also.

The fault lies with the game developer in this case, as it does with any game that has screen tearing. I see you trolling in a lot of threads, so this is just another example of that, but what you said is flat out wrong. Even if MS had supplied the game
engine - which they didn't, as they used a modified version of Valve's Source engine - it would still be the developers that are to blame.

Warframe on the PS4 tears a lot worse than Titanfall does, so would you say that Sony are to blame for that? I don't think so somehow.....

 

The last time I recall noticing screen tearing in a game was Forza 2, and I rarely noticed it then.

 

I apologize as well...some of the things I said were somewhat mean.....but like I keep saying...it's sometimes annoying when ppl say things about you that aren't true....especially when fairness is what you hold to standard.

I might be a silver account but at least I have some GS and a high CUL....lets you know that I've been involved at least somewhat for a while.

I'm not just some random no GS, no CUL, no Star silver account. I agree those guys are trolls and doesn't make the Sony community look good at all....regardless if you're a Sony fan or not it's true.

 

Like I said. I apologise. These discussions can get quite heated. It's nothing personal. I shouldn't have lashed out at you either. I just get sick of being called a fanboy by all these silver account people just because I like the xbox. As though there
