Amazing Spiderman 2 joins Titanfall and others with Horrible Screen Tearing

@Locating what are you talking about bus speeds for? It has nothing to do with video output, plus the esram is on the APU so the bus is only between that and the memory, it's not like a PC where gfx card memory bus could be different to system memory bus.

The games with more screen tearing are:

Titanfall, amazing spiderman 2 , trials fusion.

there are only three for now and with any fixed for resolution you could do something to resolved .

So I don't know , it will be my Tv sony bravia full HD 1080p but I doubt because the games that I said before all the analisys of web as eurogamer or vandal say too ( amazing spiderman 2 another game with screen tearing only on xbox one )

 

Maybe your monitor is too good? I'm not disagreeing that there is screen tearing, I'm disagreeing with your statement that the T.V./monitor has "NO" bearing on peoples perception of it.

I didn't say that at all. I said that everyone gets tearing, but I didn't mean that each tear occurs in the exact same place for everyone, lol. How could it?

You do not have a magic Xbox One or TV that means that tearing like this doesn't happen in the game for you. You're just not noticing it.

 

Fox bus speed has everything to do with it. Its not like a pc either cause vram stays on its dedicated bus and doesnt call ddr3 data for graphics data like textures cause it makes things very very complicated and inneffecient

 

@ mist - I'll take your word for it.

I know little to nothing about the 360 hardware. I just know generally speaking that Vsync does in fact give you a lower fps so I figured it was a simple fix to keep things looking nice.

 

Lot of people in here talking like they know everything. I'll just say that I really haven't noticed it. If you guys are saying it has nothing to do with display your hooked up too then everyone should be seeing it at the same amount. Everyone xbox is exactly
the same after all. It's not like we are talking pc here. If your seeing it a lot then maybe you need to get a better display.

I can't believe that people still don't get it. I posted a video of the beginning of a match where there is really bad tearing as I am shot, then again when I turn the camera round to the right after being killed - and it was recorded internally by the Game
DVR - and yet you still think that has something to do with my monitor. Why do you think that? Explain it to me, bearing in mind that the footage is recorded internally based on what the console is outputting.

If a TV or monitor caused tearing, the only way to show that would be to record the footage externally, using a camera that's pointing at the TV. That's not how my footage was recorded though.

 

Personally, I don't think the issue is worth arguing over.

 

sigma your concerns are best shared on a forum like AVS or a tech forum. The findings you can prove here will only be met by denial and misdirection. The damage control sect of these forums are a very vocal minority that have no intrest in unbiased thought

Actually I was not referring to you at all. In fact as far as I'm concerned you don't even exist after yesterday's trolling effort. And then when I checked out you gamer profile and your motto on xbox live is "On Playstation" I knew exactly what sort of
person you are. For everybody's information, the refresh rate of a tv or monitor can cause screen tearing. The higher your refresh rate, the less screen tearing you will notice. Is it the only factor in it? No. But to say it's not a factor at all is wrong.
If I have a tv with a high refresh rate I will not notice scream tearing as much as someone with a tv with a low refresh rate. Common sense!

It is, because telling someone that their TV is the cause of screen tearing in Titanfall is bad advice. What if someone went out and bought a new TV, or returned a newly bought TV because they thought it was faulty, just because someone on here had given
them bad advice?

That's why it needs to stop.
