Amazing Spider Man 2 cancelled on Xbox One?

As far as the release date goes.

IGN said it won't appear on disc until June but we should all be able to download it from today.

 

It's in no way worth the £49.99 they're asking on marketplace.... I paid £38 for my copy and even that is too high...

 

Rented the xbox 360 version

 

Return it unplayed. You will feel nothing but pain.

 

From what I gather , the 360 version has a tad more pop-up in the city, but on the whole looks the same as it's "next-gen" counterpart... Dunno if it suffers from screen tear like the X1 version does tho.

 

I thought you had the PS 4 version?

Well I downloaded it ( XB1 version ) and so far I think it's pretty fun.

Graphics won't win any awards but after about an hour of play I'm yet to see any screen tearing that's been reported.

Like the previous game, combat is a pretty simple affair, hit, dodge, counter ... ...

I've not done much of the main story but the side missions seem pretty varied, stop a street mugging, rescue people from a burning building, save a kidnap victim from a moving car, take various photos, collectibles, plenty to do.

Like the first game though the most fun is when your swinging about the city, this is always fun, I mean who doesn't want to be Spiderman for an hour or so?

So far, nothing outstanding by any means but good old fun.

 

You returned it vote? I have heard mixed reviews about it but for a movie > game adaption (and I am not trying to drag down the genre) they don't usually go on to succeed. I usually avoid them but this one has my eye simply for me being in a marvel mood
lately.

 

So by delayed they only meant the retail copy? Okay. Game looks like your typical movie tie in crap anyway, charging £49.99 for this is an absolute joke.

 

Played it for a few hours and if you expect it to be a movie tie in spider-man game it doesnt dissapoint altogether. Ive had fun webs winging around manhattan.
