Amazing Spider Man 2 cancelled on Xbox One?

This one has confused me a fair bit but the progress is a good one I guess so for the sake of those planning to buy it, I am pretty happy for. I just don't understand after the hiccup, why its suddenly moving forward.

I'm sure I speak for all concerned when I say: wat? A week or two ago, it looked like the latest Spider-Man movie spin-off might

never release on Xbox One, for reasons that remain unclear - all mention of the Xbox One version was removed from marketing materials, and a number of fans claimed to have been notified that their preorders had been cancelled

 

Ok, yes I was naughty, but i've just been playing it. (Check my activity chums).

Its rather good but a bit dark. May have to play with the settings.

Still not a must have title but quite tempted.

 

Still no clear idea whats going on? I suspect it was an error on the LIVE side of things, but who knows

 

Had an hour on it and its great. The graphics, the freedom and movement are amazing. The 'Real time events' are annoying though. Spent the last 15 mins sat on a car trying to dodge.

 

No Hog. None. Very fast and fluid. The combat is stunning ( as are the sarcastic quips from Spidey)

just the QTE that are annoying.

Got to admit, this is the first single player game on Xbox One that I want to play more of.

Never got on with Assassins Creed, need friends for Dead Rising and the rest is multiplayer.

From a personal point of view, Love it!

 

I will pick this up. Not anytime soon but I will pick it up. I could do with some spiderman to be honest. It has been a while but these games do follow the exact story as the movies right?

 

Like I said in the other thread, the screen tear looks pretty dire in places on the X1 version. That would annoy me way too much.
