Discus and support am i wrong to want compensation for not receiving paid services in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; like any other paid service if you cant use due to no fault of the customer i believe i and everyone is due compensation. i will actually have to look...     like any other paid service if you cant use due to no fault of the customer i believe i and everyone is due compensation. i will actually have to look into the legal aspect of this but i am sure as a customer paying for a unusable service breaks the T&c's.

    I dont think you would be owed anything, but I do feel like microsoft could offer up some kind of compensation to help cull the discontent building up these past few weeks

    If Live were down for several days to a week, then I'd say yes, but even with multiple issues this week, Live has only actually been down for a few hours. 1 day of Live is only about $.16 so there really is nothing equivalent to compensate with.

    But per the terms of service you agree to:

      In the event of an outage, you may not be able to retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content and Data that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services.

    Actually, you agreed to the ToS when you signed up for the service. However, you are welcome to pursue legal action if you desire. You should have your lawyer contact the Microsoft legal team if you want to go down that path.

    Also, think of it this way. You buy a $30,000 car and it breaks down and is in the shop for a week how much compensation do you get for that? It is a much more expensive situation but the compensation is the same.

    I agree with some sort of compensation, as this is a PAID service, if I dont pay then i cant utulize their services, so therefore, if I have paid and cant utilize the services then the should be compensation.....(400 MSP?!?!?) ;) I do hope it gets up and
    going soon though I so want to play spades!!!! Glad to know though I am not the only one! Best of luck to everyone!
