Am i too old

Is it just my old eyes or is the text still a bit small in the menus on this game

Also what difficulty do you find best

Yeah but I thought that was fixed in an update??

I use normal difficulty because I'm not trying to impress anyone.

 

The last update did increase the size of the text, although it is still pretty small to me in places.

 

So far I'm ok with the text size, but what I have trouble with sometimes, is seeing the tiny white dots on the minimap that indicate what path to take to your quest objective. I find myself moving my chair a foot in front of my 40" TV so that I can see this.

 

I noticed that too and looked for a setting to adjust it, but found nothing. Glad to hear there may be a patch to fix it. Actually everything in the inventory menu, text and item icons are really small.

It's a lot better with the 1.4 update but it's still small. They should use the entire screen when in the inventory area and not just 1/4 of the screen.

 

It's still kind of small but the witcher games have always been this way. Bigger the tv the better it will be I guess

 

I don't think it's small at all. I made the mini map smaller in options though.

 

Yea, it's too small, as are pictures of stuff in inventory. They had plenty of room for User Interface to be larger but perhaps designed for computer screens. And then, we could possibly be getting old......on the bright side, nobody tells me when to stop
playing either and if I can't sleep, might as well go kill something....

 

I found the text to be perfect, but I had the game for a couple months before I really dove in.

I play on a 60inch HD TV, I'm assuming I was patched at around .07 prior to really getting into the game, so it could be something addressed afterwards as mentioned before.

 

I have a 27 inch tv. size of tv does make a difference.

 

Yes it a bit small for me also. As for difficulty, choose one that best suits your skill level.

 

Put the game on the hardest difficulty. Even on that difficulty you will barely die. You get too overpowered. The combat becomes kind of boring then. Play on Death March, you'll thank me later.
