    Am I the only one to whom the Maxim app is not working?


    I keep getting a Server is unavailable error each time I try to open it, clearing the cache or deleting and re installing the app has not worked.

    Maxim is NOT what Parents want!!!

    Call me a prude or whatever you like but I am not very happy that the Maxim App is plastered all over my dashboard and the dashboards of my children. And I really don't like that they are downloadable.

    Maxim is not "what guys want." Maxim (in so many ways) sums up what is wrong with the perspective of so many men these days. Maxim is porn even if the world doesn't define it as such.

    What are my options? Can I remove the ads for Maxim from the dashboard? Can I disable the download through parental controls? I don't want this junk pushed on me or my children!

    SO you bumped a thread that died months ago, just to call Maxim a "porn app"...AND to demand options from MS to set parental controls, in which ALREADY EXIST???

    yes and no. you see the Xbox Live servers themselves have had constant issues with apps and the network since the release of the xbox one. i have issues with revision 3 sometimes vevo and sometimes youtube, you maxim, and they have only recognized the issues
    with vudu youtube downloading playable content, and most importantly the entired network glitched out and crashed within the past week alone. the services for both systems in general have not been fixed completely since the release of the Bandai Pippin (or
    the XBox One if you prefer) . When 2 systems have constant issues since the debut of the latest one you can call the odd man out on this one.

    Unfortunately, that didn't work. I also found that the Xbox Insider Hub app had the same issue, it wouldn't maximize centered, and sometimes other Microsoft apps will have the same issue, sometimes they work fine.

    Pfft. Maxim is just the obvious one. YouTube, Crackle, Daily Motion- they can find all sorts of Adult content on the video apps.

    Why does the Xbox (beta) app use GPU?

    Hi there,

    one thing you can check is, to see if there is difference when the app is maximized (Full screen) or is it a Window.

    I've seen differences with GPU uses when for example a Remote Desktop is maximized or not, when maximized a RDP can use quite some GPU.

    You can also try and disable the Game Bar via the Windows settings to see if that makes any difference too.
