Am I the only one that thinks Titanfall looks meh?

I was just using the 100+ hours as a example i have previously played pgr3 for hundreds of hours online aswell as all the cod games and gears of war. Its all about the multiplayer in the gaming world now.

 

ALL about mp? I can think of many sp games recently, and upcoming that say otherwise.

Even if you take out the older games, there's still just as many (if not more) primarily single player games on that list. Perhaps it's all about multiplayer for you, but there's obviously still just as big (if not bigger) of a market for single player games.

 

Apart from the select few single player games most of them lack replay value.

 

That's your opinion, and obviously there's a huge number of people out there who disagree. Personally, I haven't found many multiplayer games that I go back to and play as often as some single player games. The fact is that it's obviously not "all about
multiplayer in the gaming world now" though.

 

There are still lots of single player games that are top quality, like Skyrim for example, but personally I find those kinds of games don't hold my attention for very long. I like to game with others.

I'm one of the number(s) who will disagree. If you're a story driven player like myself, SP is important. I can name many AAA titles that I bought for the sole purpose of playing
campaign... and the fact that they had MP was simply an added bonus for me. Games like Halo: [any subtitle here], GOW, Some of the earlier CoD, FEAR, Crysis... Many of these games I have multiple playthroughs of the SP because it was just that much fun.



Some of them, like FEAR, Bioshock, Splinter Cell, Batman, Tomb Raider... I didn't even bother to play MP and couldn't tell you if a few even had it.



Some of the best games I've played; Oblivion, Skyrim, Mass Effect, Fallout... No MP (well except for the coop in ME3). Not that I have anything against MP, I play a good bit of
it as well.



The only way to represent any degree of accuracy to the statement would be to say "It's all about multiplayer in MY gaming world now".



Although, I'm definitely keeping my eye on Destiny. If it lives up, it may be a step in the direction of bridging the gap between the 'all about SP' and 'all about MP' gamers since
it seems to have a bit of appeal to each. We shall see I guess.

still the same game, besides this game is not that advanced and if it had been released on PS4 it would have run just fine

 

I agree it doesn't look spectacular. However, it looks better than almost any 360 game. That being said, the resolution could stand to be upped from the 790p native or whatever but they are already talking about doing that in an update.

For me, it truly is more about the gameplay and it doesn't disappoint me at all in that category. It is sometimes veryhard to adjust but the crazy amount of action that can go on all at once without bogging the game down and ids amazing. Honestly, that's
all the "next gen" I need in a game but stellar graphics are great and nice to see. (Even if the vast majority of us will become complacent after about a week.)

 

No there are plenty out there that don't like the gameplay but I guess it would be the same thing If I were to say: Am I the only one that thinks TES online looks meh?Too each there own. You can express your own opinion after all it is a semi-free planet
lol. Even if we all have different opinions on different games it doesn't mean we are not a gaming community anymore. We all have one thing in common whether it be on a pc, console, or handheld.
