Am I the only one STILL having disc drive issues from those old preview builds?

Just wanna make a head count. Am I the only one still having a glitchy disc drive from those old preview builds? I've long since opted out hoping for a fix in the final updates, and it has gotten better, but I am still having some issues, such as the drive
falling back to sleep when idle, or the drive not recognizing a disc is inside, in which I need to eject and reinsert to fix.

Other than those, my drive works perfectly.

Tl;dr: Am I the only one still having disc drive issues from the old preview builds? Because seriously man.

Disc Drive Does Not Accept Discs

the disc drive in the replacement xbox one console i received from microsoft makes a whirring noise when inserting a disc... only while it is accepting the disc. sounds like it might be the motor that pulls the disc inside the drive. anyone having any issues
with this?

I have a similar problem with Starlinx, after taking in teh disc, the tile still says "insert disc". If I eject the disc, the disc comes out, but then the drive immediate sucks it back in, THEN proceeds to read it properly, as if nothing is wrong. It doesn't
happen all the time, and it only started happening after the updates. I used to be a part of the preview builds back when it was first introduced and have since opted out. I currently have the final May build, but I'm still seeing some lingering issues drive
issues from the preview builds. When I recieved my Xbox back in xmas, everything was perfect, after signing up for the betas, that's when *** started acting weird, especially the disc drive. Now that I'm not part of the beta, I'm still seeing issues. Hopefully,
Microsoft fixes these.

P.S: I already did all the factory default reset, power cycling, etc. the issue still pops up.

 

I recently had an issue where the drive stopped reading my discs. Support suggested heading over to Settings>Disc and Blue Ray then uncheck Enable BD Live to Improve Blue Ray Playback and clear the Persistent Storage. Then restart the console by holding
the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

If the issue persists you should take advantage of the warranty period and return the console for repair. I had to do this and got my console back within 3 days. If you choose to do an advance exchange you cannot do so online anymore but can through phone
support. You will need a credit card if you choose the advance exchange option.
