Am I the only one not able to launch NBA 2k14 or Titanfall?

I'm stuck at 'Loading Files' with 2K14 and a similar screen with Titanfall. This started on the 8th, as the notice on xbox.com/status shows - I'm a little surprised/concerned it's been broken for four days, so I'd like to make sure it's not something that
broke on my console. (???).

They need something to distract from the fact that their first party launch lineup is a joke.

I'm buying a PS4 but not until Infamous comes out.

 

Two things you can try here.

1. Highlight the game on the Home page and press the Start button on the controller then select Quit. Restart the game.

2. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until the console shuts down.

Either of those should work for you.

Unfortunately, when I do that it only returns me to the home screen of the console. I can still use the console for non-gaming purposes I think - but I have a Chromecast so I have don't have a need for most of the movie/content watching features of Xbox
- beyond playing games or watching BDs.

I was even able to purchase a game last night, and install it - but still, when attempting to do anything past the main screen of that game (Titanfall, NBA 2k14, and now this Ubisoft game I can't remember what its called, but it was $14.99), it just did
nothing but show the splash screen of the game.

 

I guess this is one of those "don't respond to that question" type of questions that the Microsoft folks don't want to respond to. Clearly, since their service has been down for an entire week, they have their hands full.

 

I'm having the same issue where I'm stuck on loading files screen on 2k14. I try to uninstall and everything I can't even do that also lol

 

If you've tried the regular restart of the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down and that did not work then do it again but this time when it has shut down unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes to
see if that helps.

 

Geez. I guess I'm stupid.

Yeah. I tried the unplugging method a couple of times over the weekend to no avail. Today, I left it unplugged (form the wall) for about 30 minutes. plugged it back in, Updated 2k server stuff, and it works now.

I guess the problem was on my end all along. Really lame.

 

The titanfall splash screen sounds like the issue ive been having. If you put the game in and the splash screen loads and it goes to a black screen and stays there. Go to setting and go to network on mine ive noticed that there is no Nat setting showing
of any description just the wired connection that goes staright to the purchase and usage problem that has been going on for a while now. I did a hard reset and then checked the network settings and the Nat is showing and open as it should be under the wired
connection. I can then put titanfall in and it will load as normal. Im having to do this every morning at the moment as its like the console forgets the setting. I hope they resolve this issue they are having with live at the moment as im thinking that they
are trying to sort it out but causing more problems to.
