Am I the only one missing the Avatars on Xbox 1?

Not saying the presents is not there, but i am missing my avatar derping on my dashboard. not only was it another way to personalize ones xbox, but i would assume revenue was good for Msoft. just thinking out loud.

It would be real cool if Microsoft brings his own poker IP (don't remember the name) on Xbox one.

 

AVATAR REWARD items don't show up in my Avatars list of items to use

Pretty much the same for me, I've now got 2 different avatars one on the 360 with my avatar awards and one on the Xbox One refusing to update, I can't change the Xbox One version as the avatar awards are missing.

 

To answer your question - no, you're not the only one.

 

I kinda do, was a cool customization/expression thing.

But i'm pretty positive they will be back in time. They are bound to do another dashboard/home update soon enough.

I'm sure they'll bring the avatar store, and gamerpic store back eventually too. They made bank off that stuff haha.

Personally think they should utilize Kinect to scan in a more accurate Avatar.

I'm completely indifferent to avatars. I couldn't care less either way.

 

I like avatars it adds colour to your profile. Granted, older peps on here may not want them. Shopping for digital stuff is kind of cool props clothes and some cool stuff. If they got rid of avatars, I'd call Xbox 1 a hunk of Windows 8. It's a good idea
since they released that November Update you can decorate your profile more without it looking like a Drivers Licence or as serious as a Passport. Bios and Location have returned to your profile, and... you can customize the Dash background. Xbox 1 isn't Xbox
if it misses too many Xbox Live Features from Xbox 360.

 

There's another recent thread in this forum (I'm sure you can find it) that shows strong evidence that avatars aren't only not going anywhere, but will see a great deal of improvement sometime soon - likely within the coming year. This makes me, and my avatar,
very happy.

 

I miss mine and would be very happy to see it on the Xb1
