    Am I missing something?


    Doc Holliday - I'm glad you think the system is great and I do have many hobbies other than Xbox. However, as a new Xbox one owner, I'm asking for specific functions/features that are going to be worth my time.

    Zero Divided - During the Xbox one reveal in 2013, MS claimed that this would be an all in ONE machine. Not just a gaming system. If during the reveal they claimed that it was merely a gaming console with limited other features, then I would have no problem
    with my new box of transistors. MS made these bombastic claims and failed to deliver. I appreciate the security issues of flash, but then why even have a web browser? Why not develop an HTML5 browser instead?

    Argontheos - I watch a lot of sports, primarily soccer. The apps that were most important to me were: NBC Sports, Fox Sports 2 Go, and FuboTv. I was really hoping to go from watching on my cell phone to watching on my TV. I had to go out and buy a Chromebook
    to do this, when I thought I had an 'All-In-One' device. This is the root of my discontent.

    Many of you emphasize the gaming aspect of this system and I am very happy to hear this, since that is the reason I purchased mine. Just don't give me ground chuck and tell me it's steak.

    Contact those sports companies and lobby them to develop the apps for the One, it's not the console or MSs fault if a company doesn't put an app out there for it.

    Seems to me that since you got your X1 for Halo 5... you got your 'steak'. You just didn't get the garnishing you wanted with it. In which case, I agree 100% with Genchy's post.

    unfortunately, the internet exploded about the X1 reveal, in a bad way, to the point that MS started going back on what they said at the 2013 reveal and E3 2013 because of the backlash, they ended up canceling most of the original programs and closing the
    doors on their entertainment division and slowly moving away from anything not gaming related for the most part, and since then Phil Spencer has done nothing but push the fact that Xbox is first and foremost a gaming console, so thank the internet and its
    infinite ignorance for thinking a gaming console can't be an all-in-one entertainment console.

    and i'm pretty sure the web browser is using HTML5, it's the rest of the internet that is being slow on doing away with Flash.

    Doesn't work...RS is for crouch and LS for TP view/ FP view. Can you do it that way you said , Lord?

    The IR Blaster is for use with the remote for your cable service. A controller will not work for that.

    Yeah, Ive posted in the MW2/3 forums numerous times since the new forums, but just recently, when trying to get to them, it says "not found" or something, and the forum isnt there............Weird.
