    Am I gold or not?!


    I just picked up a One yesterday. With my play and charge kit came a 14 free day trial. The code worked, but I'm still showing as silver. So I went to download the 2 free games with gold games. They let me put them in the Q but now saying I need to go gold
    to install them? I am confused

    I am new to Xbox One games with gold and just had a quick question...

    I am a gold member, if I let my gold account run out, I understand I can't play this game any longer (like PSN) however, will the game become playable again if I re subscribe, or do you lose it if you let your membership lapse? (I mean when the game is no longer on Games with gold)

    Ok the free Gold weekend makes sense. But when I signed up for Live it didn't tell me I had 1 month free Gold. I've never had a Live account before and I bought the console bundle new at Walmart. The flyer said it comes with 1 month free of Gold. Was Walmart
    supposed to give me a card with an activation code on it? There was nothing in the box and I wasn't handed anything at checkout.

    I would shop around first. You can find XBL memberships for pretty cheap. I have see them at Target for $35 for 1 year.

    first do not bump a almost 1 year old thread, second there are 2 ways to buy gold, via the dashboard of your 360 console (note when you buy on the console the system will auto charge the card used to buy that gold next time it runs out unless you turn the
    Auto Renew off before the next month gets charged), or buying the cards for Gold in store, FYI newer Gold cards are now region locked so a USA card will only work on a USA account.

    Lawyer up2, a free member, or it's also known as silver, is a basic Live member. You can connect to Live and download content, but you cannot play online multiplayer or access apps that require a gold membership.
