Am i able to use Japanese letters in my gamertag ?

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are wanting to use letters from a different language. Gamer tags are region specific so in short, if you live where Japanese is used than yes, If you live in the US then this is not available as you are
unable to change languages/region. Here is a

I wanted (my gamertag) but found that someone else had already taken it using all letters so I just changed some of the letters to numbers (like they do on car registration/license plates) and I was able to have the gamertag I wanted.

I'm sorry that you are not able to use your chosen gamertag. Is there a way of customizing it so you could still use it? Such as changing letters to number, numbers to letters, etc. It might not be how you want it to look but it might be a temporary solution
so you can use the gamertag.

[/quote]It could be because Skynet is sick of people butchering the English language in Gamertags ( which is why I butchered Japanese) and hacked XBL so that no more people could make gamertags with z's where s's should be? The creation of your gamertag
will be the final straw and Skynet will become fully self aware and bring about the Zombie Apocalypse.
