Why do you guys resort to name calling?

 

So it's a thread about someone complaining about rebooting a computer. I have seen it all.

 

Camaro...it's a thread about a buggy console that has to be turned off daily when Microsoft supposedly designed it to be on at all times. Like I said, autoupdates shut the Xbox One down. It does not reboot automatically.

 

Only time i've had to turn it off, is when i stop using it.

 

@ rippenI think its becuase the titanfall launch broke XBL lol. seriously was flawless until titanfall, now there are minor issues all over. but MS is good at getting them fixed quick

Updates are seamless, i keep my xbox in standby, all my games patch and DL updates themselves and i never see it or know outside of the notification to launch teh game when i get home. The only interaction i've had is after a OS update to the xbox one, i
come home and its off and not in standby so i press the on button and it takes about a minute to finish the update and voila, done. much better then it was on the 360 IMO

 

All I can say so happy I not bought into any next generation console at the moment. What with all the bugs and gripes with the X Box One. It seems Microsoft is constantly fixing this and that with the X Box One.

The X Box One is a console/ media hub not a computer!

You can't use office on the One or email or design a website so clearly not a computer.

Also have some compassion for your fellow gamers that are having problems with the One!

never have had to shut my console off at ALL. What you are experiencing is not the norm, and as suggested by someone else in this thread, you may need to have your console looked at. Mine reboots after an update with zero issues, and the update(s) doesn't
shut my console down.

 

Despite what MS may have said, your Xbox One console is still an electronic device. It's probably a good idea to turn it off on a regular basis. I turn mine off whenever I'm not using it & when I'm gone for long periods of time (for a day or more), I unplug
it. This helps me save money in the long term because I'm not wasting electricity by having it on 24/7. It also helps prevent errors from occurring on the console due to the regular reboots. Just think about it - if the console is designed to last 10 years
with it turned on, how long do you think it will last if you turned it off regularly? It'd probably last forever! Well, close enough anyways...

 

i purchased my ipad around the same time as my xbox one and i've rebooted it more times then my xbox. i also have safari crash on it several times a day, injustice doens't work with cloud saves, TWD and TWAU both crash during gameplay frequently. and i'm
low on storage already. and it cost the same as my xbox. maybe i should *** at apple

Seriously, you have no clue what you post about on here and have no experience with this console and how it works. You start negative posts with twisted words to help satisfy yourself with not buying one yet. You do not comment or post in game threads yet
you class your self a "real gamer". Every time you post I feel embarrassed for you.

 

I think a lot of non knowing assisters are making it seem like the fix to everything. No different for when a lot of people were telling 360 owners to clear their cache. Its simple its easy and it just so happens too work most of the time.

I have even seen the trend of people telling others to do this 3 times for it to work. It wont matter if you do it 1-100 times if it does not fix the problem the first time then it is not the issue. Don't worry OP just play the games and you will be happy.

Phil Spencer is saying what he was told to say. Die hard fans make a team what a team is. Along side that teams hard work of course!

 

Listed I don't think he is, he's being open. Something a lot on here are incapable of. But you guys have to twist everything to your advantage, you should consider a career in politics.
