    Always have to got thru system set-up when starting the console


    Everytime I turn my console on, I have to go thru the set-up menus before it gets to the dashboard. On top of that, my avatar does not show up. I can create one but it won't show on the dashboard (it is just blank/clear). I have contacted Support (twice)
    with this issue and was advised to clear the cache, which I did to no avail. Then I was advised to go online and re-load my profile. I have never been online to creat a profile, ever, on an XBox system and couldn't understand why I would need to do that. I
    can create a profile on the system but when I start playing a game, it says that it can't save without an active profile being used. When I can go to settings to activate it there is nothing listed. The tech guy on the last call couldn't understand why this
    was happening either. We walked thru everything he suggested but nothing would get my Avatar to show up. Anybody else experience this?

    Every 2 Minutes winners!

    Finally got my system bundle on Tuesday. Tried to set it up and it is slow starting up and then the controller wont stay on and system shuts off. Anyone have this problem? The controller shuts off as well

    My system got updated yesterday and ever since my games and apps won't load, receiving the above error code. I've tried all the suggestions, going thru power cycle, taking the cable out, starting up again and also changing the location to USA but nothing
    has worked. Please help.

    You are not the only one. All of my memory has been erased. I played last night and everything was fine. I tried to play this afternoon and I don't have any profiles or memory. I think something has happened if more than one person is experiencing the same
    thing. My console want let me download my profile but I can go online and look at what I played last night. Something is not right. Microsoft needs to find out what is going on.

    I'm using the 4GB that came with the system. I have never used an outside/external storage device.

    Hmmm...

    Try this:

    1. Check/delete corrupt content on your memory unit

    2. Clear system cache 3x

    3. Manually remove system update (highlight memory unit and press LB,RB,X,LB,RB,X)

    Hope this fixes your issue. If this doesn't resolve your issue. You may need to contact xbox customer support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX.
