Always checking multiplayer connection to reset NAT?

Modem brand & model number: CISCO DPC3825

Router brand & model number: CISCO Linksys E3200

Wired or wireless: Wired

Things you have tried: Steps via xbox support site (resetting UPnP etc.)

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? See below

Any Error Codes you encounter: No

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Rogers

The problem I am encountering is that everytime I start up my xbox one, my NAT type is always reset to Moderate. So I have to go to Settings > Network > Check multiplayer connection, and press all triggers and bumpers. This sets my NAT type back to Open.

I am wondering why am I encountering this problem? I have followed the steps of resetting my UPnP and I have also tried port forwarding. They both work, but I still have to go through "check multiplayer connection" everytime to get my NAT open. Currently,
I just have UPnP enabled, and I followed the step given by Microsoft to reset it a couple of days ago with no changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Test network connection says Everything is good.

 

Cannot connect with Forza Motorsport . net or Servers

Could you confirm that your Cisco DPC3825 is operating in bridge mode, since this device is also a router/NAT built-in to this device. Since you have an additional router/NAT device, (Linksys E3200) All traffic for your console will be NAT'd twice. This
type of behavior (double NAT) does not support UDP over NAT traversal.

Make sure your DPC3825 is operating in bridge mode and have UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) enabled on the LInksys E3200.

Make sure your console's network settings are set to obtain IP and DNS automatic.

If necessary, consult with your ISP, how to configure the DPC3825 in bridge mode.

Post back and let us know how that goes.

I was able to switch my modem to bridge mode. After it reset, I went onto my xbox and it should moderate so I checked the multiplayer connection and my NAT opened, as per usual. Hopefully it will stay open and I'll post back in the coming days with its progress.

Hey everyone, it has been a couple of days and this fix has worked flawlessly for me. For those is Canada with Rogers and are having NAT problems, please try this out. The cisco DPC3825 is a popular modem and it takes 2 seconds to configure.
