    Altered Game Saves


    Is anyone else having a issue with some game saves in Halo 5?

    I am and it's weird. The game difficulty will be changed from normal to Legendary. It's happened about 3 or 4 times now.

    Not sure why this happens but it does, and you never know when it will.

    It only corrects itself once you reach the next check point.

    My Xbox live account was messed up! I CANT PLAY ONLINE!

    Altered lobbies? Should we be scared? I don't want to randomly play a game and go into an altered lobby.

    That is what I thought, but I wasnt sure. You are 100% sure I will not see anything changed or altered? Same place in the story and all that?

    Uninstalling the game does not alter your game saves or achievements.

    Sorry but that is incorrect.

    -

    If you leave the game by normal means then the game will update to the servers and the altered stats will be saved.

    -

    If you use the Guide Button then dashboard it is also possible that the data will be updated and the altered stats saved.

    -

    The only way to be sure they wont update is to power off the console.

    Can I transfer saves between profiles ?

    Save files are tied to Gamertags that created them. If you were to use 3rd party software to alter the ownership of these files you will be at risk for a ban. Altering save files is modding and the modding of save files is not allowed. You do so at your
    own risk.

    The only way to do this is either load up a previous save of the game, or to start a new game and alter the ending the way you want it to be (Spend more money for Albion.).
