Discus and support Alter volume when streaming games from Xbox to PC? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I recently started using the Xbox stream to Windows 10 function and love it but I'm having difficulty with the volume.     Alter volume when streaming games from Xbox to PC?


    I recently started using the Xbox stream to Windows 10 function and love it but I'm having difficulty with the volume. So my setup is Xbox 360 controller, PC, Astros. Generally if I use my Astros directly on my Xbox I can alter game and voice volume separately.
    This isn't the case when on PC. It's basically whatever my PC volume and there's no deviation between voice and game. Anyone know a way around this without doing the obvious such as using skype?

    Xbox App Volume/Microphone

    is it possible make the app have its own individual volume such as if I have iTunes, itunes have this individual volume then the system volume. Also in it possible to have a volume for chat party also and microphone when streaming from on pc

    Short Game Clips - 23 seconds

    I am streaming from an Xbox One to a PC and it works fine. I have the quality set to normal (not high). I use the DVR function to record a game clip (Win ALT R) and let it run for several minutes. When I stop the recording (Win Alt R) it saves only 23
    seconds, regardless of what the timer says. I have gone through the steps of cycling both the Xbox and PC, including disabling streaming on the Xbox. I have also tried by clicking the red button on the DVR window (Win G).

    What am I missing here to get longer record times?

    Dolby Atmos & Netflix broken on Xbox One (original console)

    I recently upgraded my sound system and am facing the same issue. I can however stream Netflix in Atmos from PC without the pops and artifacts. I would much prefer to use Xbox. What I do notice is using Netflix app and setting Atmos up through the Dolby
    Access app on both you would expect similar performance from both via hdmi into the same receiver HOWEVER , the Atmos stream from PC is around 10db lower volume than the same stream from Xbox, as in to get the same audible volume, both on atmos I have to turn
    up the amp 10db on PC vs XBOX. This makes me wonder is the xbox issue caused by digital clipping because it for some reason is outputting at a higher gain than it should? I don't understand why there is a volume difference between apps on the 2 microsoft operating
    systems.

    Have you had any response or resolution so far?

    How do you turn down the volume level on Halo 4?

    If you pause the game whilst playing and go to Audio and Video, there should be an option there to alter the volume.

    No sound on PC when steaming a game with XBOX App

    That's all set correctly. It's only the audio coming from the XBOX App that is very low. I can watch a video online, play music in Media player, and all PC system sounds are at normal easy to hear levels. Open the XBOX app and stream to my PC and its almost
    inaudible. On the TV connected to the XBOX its fine and easy to hear. If I turn the volume up on my PC load enough to hear it, everything else is blaringly load. Why is there no volume control in the XBOX APP itself?

    Okay thank you very much, I have one small question when it comes to streaming. If i were to stream an Xbox 360 game from an Xbox One to my Windows PC, would I be able to control that streamed game with my mouse and keyboard as opposed to a controller
    while on my Windows PC playing the streamed game?
