Agreed Fatal, there is no need for abuse and name calling, how many heated debates have we had. But i have never abused or name called anyone...... As far i can remember....... LOL

Marky, we have this conversation so many times. There are hundreds of threads about it, so i won't go into details.

But it is perhaps 30-40 people on here all the time debating the same topics, Myself included. Microsoft did not make the reversal decision based on us here in the forums, it was based on the wider public, gaming community, press and pre-orders. If that
had had a good reception, they never would have removed it, But i for one am glad they did, as it opened the door up to so many more customers, and a bigger user base, encourages more Devs/Pubs to jump on board

 

Ironic thing is I bet most of you on here have social friends at work or social friends that have the other system to you. My best friend has and we laugh about it all. It's a games machine to play games you want to play.you don't make a choice on purchase
based on what games your next door neighbour wants to play

 

Hairy - I understand what you mean as I agree the more people that get to play the xbox one the better

 

I had a great time leading up to launch. I had a friend on Xbox Live who was going with PS4, and he and I spent 3 months trying to 'convert' each other.

 

Me a my mate has badges made with down with the enemy (meaning each other. Another time I went to work and he had moved desks saying he didn't want to sit near a xbox fan .Got my own back the next time him and his wife came round a put a bit on my door saying
xbox owners only welcome. Lol

 

Perhaps we need to start a thread about people with friends with a different console. Show people most of us are normal. Lol

 

u aint upset me mantis i just dont see why you bash people with a xbox one when you aint even got one yet you plan on getting one its like me calling everyone a idiot for getting a xbox one yet i get one myself

 

In most walks of life don't most people bash things they think are better than what they have? I cannot say I often think about things that are worse or I don't want

 

Just had a nosy on ps4 forum and i am actually surprised how mature some users are.they are having a good discussion on 1080p and i have not seen one post were they slate the xbox one.

they are actually hoping Microsoft sort it out.also some are stating it will get better.and both consoles are great

Yeah, the EU Sony forums can be quite pleasant. There are still haters there, but it's pretty good. It's the US ones that I'm not all too keen on.

 

There will always be people on any site about any product that will try and get your back up. As long as You are happy with you purchase just try and rise above it. No matter what u say to them you are never gonna change their minds as they are not on any
forums to have their minds changed

 

agree some nice guys on there talking to few now who own ps4 and they dont think the xbox one is bad at all.

 

@ Gh0sts - You seem to have a misconception that I have bashed people that have an X1 when I've only made a few comments about the kinect. I guess I'm having trouble trying to understand how you have that confused. If that misconception is what you need
to cling to, fine. I would never try to yank a blanket away from a baby. My "trolling" didn't start with the unveiling of the X1. Maybe you are a noob and don't realize that. If people are happy with the X1, great. My bashing has been toward Microsoft.

Trolling MS with ill informed opinions is just as foolish as Sony trolls trolling MS just because its not a Sony product.

 

But is ill-informed opinion not in itself still an opinion? And in who's opinion is it ill informed if it's all a matter of opinion?
