Already Switching to Playstation because it allows me to actually play games

I bought an xbox one yesterday and brought it home at 5. After a quick system setup and update it appeared to be working. After putting in Halo is has now been over 26 hours and the game has not updated sufficiently to play. I have turned off the wifi
in hopes it will let me use offline capabilities. Now i am installing a second game i bought in hopes of playing that tonight but so far i have had no luck.

As a playstation owner, it is very simple to play games while they update or at least pause the update and play a game out of the box (after a short installation). This whole experience makes me wonder why i ever gave microsoft money or ever would in the
future. If anyone is interested in purchasing a slightly used xbox that can't play games message me.

Multi Platform

If the game allows it, it's already setup that way. As of right now there are no cross play games for Xbox/PlayStation. Just PC and Nintendo Switch and phone.

Considering Switching To Playstation

I bought the season pass for black ops 2 about how I got to relive the fun times I had a while back but after I had bought it I checked my games and apps too see if it was ready it was I was so exited as I logged on to my account in bo2 I looked to see if
it had came through yet it still hasn't for 4 days and I don't think it ever will as I worried I contacted xbox support over an hour talking about it nothing was done at all exept a thanks for calling how can we help overall I am disappointed with this and
I cannot get a refund thanks xbox another 26 pounds down the drain again

This decision depends only of sony. Microsoft and Nintendo already allowed cross play.

On Playstation you have crossplay on some games like Fortnite and Rocket League, but sony do cross play on a per-game basis, instead of allowing it to the developers choice as nintendo and microsoft are doing, so not all games that have cross-play between Switch
and Xbox will be available on Playstation.

I feel you on this. Playstation allows players without there online subscription to still play Fortnite because it is a F2P game.

I really hope Xbox can do something about this. Having to pay a monthly cost to play a free game makes no sense to me even though it is an online game.

That is a big reason as to why i switched from console to PC.. PC players don't have to pay for online subscriptions.

Sony pushed an update for Minecraft on Playstation 4 to update it to the "Bedrock" version, allowing Playstation 4 players to play with Xbox One, PC, Mobile and Switch users now.

Make sure you also have Version 1.14 of your Minecraft installed, and that you are playing on Xbox One, Switch, Playstation 4, Windows 10 or Android/iOS.

Minecraft on Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, and other "older" console versions can't play with others on the "Bedrock" version.
