    Hi! I'm having an issue regarding the Xbox Live Gold free trial. I purchased it from my Xbox One console around July 24, 2016, and it worked fine on the first day. It displayed this in menu of the game "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" under the "Options" tab
    and under "Network": "Connected to Xbox Live" and "Connected to Call of Duty Servers". This was only on the first day, though. However, on the next day, I went back to the game and it displayed this: "Not Connected to Xbox Live" and "Not Connected to Call
    of Duty Servers". I accessed my Microsoft account and under "Services & subscriptions", it showed that my Xbox Live Gold subscription was still active. However, on my Xbox, when I view my subscriptions, it just shows a button that says, "Learn more about Gold
    memberships". On other games, when I choose to play online, it prompts me to purchase Xbox Live Gold again. Also, in "Call of Duty: Black Ops III", when I choose "Play Online", a error message pops up saying, "This profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live."
    I tried to remove myself from my Xbox and re-download my profile. That didn't work. I tried power cycling/hard resetting my Xbox console. That also didn't work. No matter what I tried, I got the same result every time. Is this a known issue, or is my Xbox
    One defective?

    Xbox live one month free trial not working on my Xbox one

    I got the free one month trial for Xbox live gold on my Xbox one, Andy it worked for about a week; I even got one of the free games with gold for the month. But after that first week when I pulled up titanfall and Minecraft they
    said I didn’t have Xbox live. I checked my Microsoft account and it said I still have Xbox live gold until February 5

    New to XB1

    First time poster and first time xbox user so go easy on me....

    Just traded in my PS3 at best buy and got xbox loaded up and playing halo for the first time...it's so so will pick up BF4 later on today.

    I have a 14 day free trial for xbox live gold which I am using, should I be able to take advantage of the free ea access trial this week and be able to download and play their games for a few days?

    Once the free trial is over for xbox live gold I'm assuming I will need to purchase an xbox live subscription, is xbox live gold the only option? I can't find any information online about anything other than the gold subscription so am a little confused, why there would be a gold option but no bronze/silver/platinum/diamond etc?

    having gold or not having gold has nothing to do with the console it has to do with the account. the account you are posting from on the forum does not have it. you may want to contact support they may be able to help you find out what happened to your
    gold.

    Hey there Kryptozilla,

    To clarify, a trial works in a different manner than a paid Gold subscription, Trial memberships will not allow you to use all features of Xbox Live Gold, such as Games with Gold or Deals with Gold. It also will appear that you are a Silver account versus
    a Gold account on the forums.

    Some games also require paid subscriptions to work properly. Which specific mode are you trying to play in Black Ops III and are you able to play other modes or games online without any issue?

    I have the same problem with a subscription. Trial subscriptions need to love make Xbox Life and buy a paid subscription gold. Why a trial subscription without anything?

    Are you seeing an error message when you try to play an online multiplayer game? If so, what error are you seeing and in which game are you seeing the error? Let us know!

    I activated a free month of Xbox live. I can download free games. But I can not play on the network. He says there is no subscription you - buy.

    having gold or not having gold has nothing to do with the console it has to do with the account. the account you are posting from on the forum does not have it. you may want to contact support they may be able to help you find out what happened to your
    gold.
