Already playing it?

I checked the game hub for Dying Light and there were clips of people playing the game. I even compared games with this dude, and he's unlocked some achievements already. Thing is, his profile says he's in Los Angeles. So, with the release not until the
27th, should i assume the clips are from people playing pirated copies? If so, they're idiots for uploading the clips. I can't imagine the game has been released to certain people already. Thoughts.

Now i'm not accusing anyone of having pirated copies. It's just suspicious.

Cause I played Gears already before. Theres only 15 people online and playing against the same noobs every game isnt as fun lol.

Or, their local game store is selling the game early. Thats what 1 dude told me. Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't it a violation of the xbox live TOS to play games ahead of the release date? Gaining an unfair advantage sort of thing?

There's also this strange cult out there that you may have heard of, they call themselves "games journalists".

One of their more bizarre rituals is to get sent early copies of games (for free even) and then to play them through very quickly so that they can write a "review" that they then put up online, or sometimes even print in magazines and newspapers, in an effort
to let the general public know whether a game is worth buying or not. Who are they to tell me what I should like or dislike?

I think they are a danger to themselves and everybody around them, and they need to be stopped before they do something drastic, Jonestown style.

No i dont. I have never had any problems like this, buying games online without cd's.

The only game cd i have is fallout 4. All The other 12 games i bought, is bought online without any problems what so ever.
