    Already download games re-downloading on series x


    Hello there

    I went on xbox today and 2 games that I have downloaded already had to update but instead of doing the normal update files it needs to redownload the whole entire game. For payday to re download it isnt that bad but for a game such as Call of duty cold war needing to re download it isnt very fun because it is 169 gb on the series x. Does anyone know a fix for this or do I just have to re download it again.

    What about the games that I currently have stored on my external hard drive? Will I be able to use that on my Series X to play those games? Or will I have re download them on the Series X?

    Hey ISA x JOE! If you've already successfully downloaded the game and are downloading it from your download history you shouldn't be charged. If this is the only game freezing then I do suggest you try deleting and re-downloading the game!

    Update:

    What I have done is deleted my 360 file on my Xbox Series X and let it re download itself when I opend the game Left 4 Dead up because it wont work in game and will come up with the error, however the series X will download it on it's own when you boot up a 360 game.

    The bad news is that my Xbox 360 still comes up with the error when Downloading my profile, so something to do with that way of downloading is the problem it seems.
