    Alpha: “There was a problem with the update”


    I am in the alpha ring and turned on my series x tonight to be greeted with an update screen but when I tried to do so I get a “there was a problem with the update” error. The error code is 0x080070570…..

    I’ve clicked “try again” multiple times, as well as doing a few hard resets (hold down power button and unplug console) but just get the same error each time and can’t get it to update.

    Alpha update problems

    Your console wasn't bricked. Bricked means like a brick, dead, not usable, won't power on. You can't restore an Alpha console with USB, that is only for public builds.

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead

    In the alpha skip ahead, still no update. "Alpha Skip Ahead" clearly means something else... :')
